Cervantes vs Einstein
This gentleman feels Don Quixote a more important work than all of Einstein's theories. Well, I guess that's arguable, but I take issue with his claim "I can drive spaceship Earth without knowing the workings of the atom. But I cannot do without [Don Quijote]". This is a common attitude amongst artists and rather cheaply provides them with an excuse not to show an interest (while perhaps covering an inadequacy that they are well aware of). I submit that if you don't know how the world works, you're condemned to being a passenger. That said, it was a nice article and may well provoke me out of my own apathy to finally read the book in question (I already know about Einstein's theories).
